Skills Competition: I Lead the Way, Striving to Be Craftsmen with Courage —— Eihe Steel Structure Holds the 4th Skills Competition

To foster a positive atmosphere of competition, learning, catching up, helping, and surpassing, enhance employees’ operational skills and quality awareness, and promote vocational skill exchanges among staff, Qingdao Yihe Steel Structure Group Co., Ltd. recently held its 4th Skills Competition. One hundred frontline workshop employees were selected to participate in the event. After evaluating each entry, the competition panel awarded 22 employees.

The competition retained the same disciplines as previous years: layout marking, CO₂ welding, tack welding, and submerged arc welding. After intense competition, He Kunwu and Wu Cunliang won first prize in layout marking, Xu Xuesong and Yang Shuangwei took first prize in CO₂ welding, Xin Zhaojun secured first prize in tack welding, and Che Caijun claimed first prize in submerged arc welding. At the awards ceremony, Liu Jiaping, Vice President of the company, and Wei Xiaoxian, Director of the Manufacturing Plant, presented certificates and cash bonuses to the winners

He emphasized the need to fully implement the established work arrangements, strengthen hierarchical responsibility, and ensure the meticulous execution of all tasks. All departments should enhance coordination, promptly address emerging issues, and maintain a rigorous and meticulous work ethic. Innovation-driven development must be prioritized, with proactive exploration of new methodologies to inject sustained momentum into our operations. Finally, rigorous oversight and accountability mechanisms should be reinforced, guaranteeing that every objective is met with high quality and efficiency. This constitutes the overall requirement for our next phase of work.
